You don't need expensive equipment to make great coffee at home. A simple pour-over dripper, a kettle, and freshly ground beans are all it takes.
What you need
A ceramic dripper, paper filters, a kitchen scale, a kettle (gooseneck preferred), and 20 grams of freshly ground coffee per 300ml of water.
The method
Rinse the filter, add grounds, pour just enough water to wet them (the bloom), wait 30 seconds, then pour slowly in circles until you reach your target weight. Total brew time: about 3 minutes.
The key is consistency. Same ratio, same grind, same water temperature. Once you dial in your recipe, every cup will taste the same.
